what goes in matters.
every ingredient in ALTSOL is there for a reason. no filler. no window dressing.
Most self-tans stop at DHA.
we did not.
DHA is what develops colour. but it tells you nothing about what happens to your skin while it does. most formulas stop there.
ALTSOL goes further. six botanical ingredients chosen specifically for what they contribute to skin health. each one earning its place on the label.
the four hero botanicals
-
Centella Asiatica
also known as Tiger Grass. soothes and repairs the skin barrier while the tan develops. widely used in K-beauty for its calming and restorative properties.
-
Licorice Root
a natural brightening agent. helps even skin tone and reduce the appearance of discolouration, supporting a more natural-looking finish.
-
Chamomile
calms and conditions. one of nature's most well-known soothing ingredients, particularly beneficial for sensitive and reactive skin types.
-
Green Tea
known for its antioxidant properties. helps protect skin from environmental stress and daily exposure, supporting overall skin health alongside the tanning process.
also in the formula
-
Skullcap Root
known for its calming and antioxidant properties in skincare formulation. supports skin through the tanning process alongside the hero botanicals.
-
Resveratrol
via Japanese Knotweed. a natural source of resveratrol, widely recognised in premium skincare for its antioxidant properties. part of what makes the formula more than a standard self-tan.
4% DHA. gradual by design.
DHA is the active ingredient that develops colour in self-tan. most instant tans use high concentrations to give fast, heavy results. the tradeoff is an unnatural depth and the familiar fake tan smell.
ALTSOL uses 4% DHA. enough to build a real, natural-looking glow over 4 to 8 hours. gentle enough to use daily. subtle enough that nobody has to know.
one application gives a barely-there warmth. three gives a holiday glow. daily use over a week builds a sustained, deep result. you control the depth.
